Volunteer as a Team Manager
Thank you for considering volunteering your time & energy to the kids & families of Middleton Youth Hockey. Our team managers, coaches, & volunteers are what keep Middleton Youth Hockey skating forward!
We rely on hard-working volunteers for team support - without them, Middleton Youth Hockey just wouldn't be possible. If you are interested in serving as a MYH team manager, please follow the primary steps below prior to any team activities:
The Primary Steps to serving as Team Manager, Board Member, or Locker Monitor with MYH:
- USA Hockey registration (free)
- USA Hockey background screen
- SafeSport online training module
- Request access to your team's webpage (Managers only)

DETAILS ON HOW TO VOLUNTEER WITH MIDDLETON YOUTH HOCKEY
Step 1 - Register with USA Hockey
*Please read: If you are a registered USA Hockey coach - you already have a USA Hockey number and can skip this step.
Step 2 - Background Screening
Complete a USA Hockey Background Screening
In compliance with requirements from the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC), USA Hockey has implemented a national level background screening policy. Background screens through NCSI under the national program will cost $30 for all domestic screens. On average, background screens take between 3-10 business days to complete.
Step 3 - USA Hockey 'SafeSport' Training
SafeSport is free for USA Hockey-registered coaches. SafeSport relates to awareness and prevention of abuse. USA Hockey 'MyHockeyIQ' portal login required (USA Hockey # & password).
