Summer 10K Puck Challenge Winners!
This past summer, Middleton Youth Hockey ran a 10,000 Pucks Challenge. In this challenge, players track the number of pucks they shot at home throughout the off-season. Our hockey club had 34 players registered with 138,117 pucks shot over the summer!
10k Pucks is a great way to perfect your shot off of the ice. Proper technique, with repetition, is key to successfully increase shot power and accuracy. We encourage players to keep honing their on-ice skills by practicing shooting and stick handling all year! Great job, Cards! Congratulations for your focus and hard work goes to all players that participated in the 10k Pucks Challenge.
Our top two winners put in a massive amount of work. Shooting over 43,000 combined summer shots were:
1. Harvey Pangman (Bantam A) with 24,110 shots!
2. Mason Busch (Squirt A) with 19,180 shots!
And congrats to all those who met their age-level commitments and shot over 10k pucks including:
Graham Upton (Bantam B) and Jameson Spangle (Bantam B)
Our Age-Level winners (representing last year’s age brackets) are:
Bantam: Niko DeKeyser (Bantam A)
Peewee: Harvey Pangman (Bantam A)
Squirt: Eero Hulstedt (Squirt A) and Sam Deja (Squirt B) (tied at 10,000)
Mites: Mason Busch (Squirt A) and Otto Ayres (Squirt C2)
